		<description>Hi Shawn:

Just read the artical about Choosing the right rod for LTJ.

I have a pretty good arsenal of tackle geared toward LTJ. I think my rods are the weakest link and am looking to upgrade. I am interested in rods you described with less cork and access to the rod blank from the handle. I use spinning and baitcasters.

Could you direct me to mid-priced rods that you feel comfortable recomending? My spinning reels are mostly Penn Slammer 260s (one 360) and for BCs I have a red ABu 6500, another Abu Black max and new Curado (smaller one)that I have not used yet. Line is 20 lb PP.

I also have a couple smaller penn spinners with 15lb PP for schoolies/summer blues.

I have a Stev F rod (6-6 med-heavy) BC that did well for me at the rips this winter when 1.5oz heads were used..

I dont get out alot so my gear doesnt get abused as much as yours.

Any links to rods you reccomend would be helpful. I dont need high priced ones, just smart priced functional equipment.

I&#039;m Bottom Knocker on TF..

Thanks Shawn.

<description>Thanks for the great article on &#039;choosing the right rod for LTJ&#039; This is exactly the type of article I was looking for. I appreciate all the time you take to post on your site, and on TidalFish! Looking forward to meeting you one day out on the Bay. Cheers &amp; best wishes.
