I was delayed answering your question due to a quirk in the website.  I would do it on the water.  I think the scent will be stronger that way.  Also, that dye runs and gets all over the lures.  You can come up with some interesting colors, but it might not be the color you&#039;re looking for.  Hold it way out away from the boat though.  It get&#039;s all over everything and takes a long time to fade off your gelcoat.</description>
