Hi Eugene --

Currents are always strong at the CBBT, and will be especially stout during the full moon. November 1 is a little early for the really big fish, but you should still find plenty of action. Bucktails will work, but you'll want to have several sizes so you can get deep enough in the fast current. You might want to tip them with soft plastics or pork rind. I suggest weights from 3/4 up to 2 ounce. Take 6" and 7" bass assassins or similar along with an assortment of jig heads in various weights up to 2 ounces. There are also some 10" soft plastic baits which you might want to use if you get into bigger fish. Work the lures very tight to the bridge pilings and experiment with different depths and locations along the bridge. The areas around the islands and over the tunnels (tubes) can also be very good. Finally, always keep an eye out for working birds.

The dye you mention is called Spike-It Dip-N-Glo. I like it both for the color contrast and scent. Good luck at the Bridge Tunnel and please let us know how things go!

SRK; I like the measuring board pictures. I believe the first black line mark is set at 18" and the second line is 30". Can't wait to see the end of the board (48") in use.
