		<description>Hey Shawn, As a transplant from the left coast, I lived through the passing of the oysters in places like Tomolis Bay.  Vibrio, I think that is likely most responsible for the demise of the Chesapeake oysters.  If my story is correct, the Westerners subsituted a Japanese oyster that is immune to the vibrio and now have huge stocks of them.  I think they are placed on wire fences for optomine filtering growth?  Unfortunately, the only oysters available in my region of Virginia come shucked in a bottle. :(</description>
