Together, we have accomplished so much and will continue to strive for excellence in the workplace. * NAV Canada Announces Ratification of Collective Agreement with catca-Unifor Local 5454 OTTAWA, Jan. 29, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — NAV CANADA announced today that members of the Canadian Air Traffic Control Association (CATCA-Unifor Local 5454), which represents approximately 2102 air traffic controllers, have ratified a new collective agreement. OTTAWA, Jan. 29 TORONTO, Dec. 20, 2020 /CNW/ — Unifor Local 5454 members who work as Canadian air traffic controllers voted 92% for their new four-year collective with Nav Canada.

The agreement runs until the 31st. March 2023 and provides for wage increases, productivity-enhancing changes and bonus adjustments. 34.04 If possible, overtime pay, recall and on-call hours will be paid for direct payment within two (2) months of the date of receipt of the supplementary customs report to management, unless overtime, recall and compensatory leave can be compensated by mutual agreement between the employee and NAV CANADA. The additional customs report must be submitted by the employee within two (2) weeks of the salary period during which overtime, reminders and/or childcare allowances were earned. 21.07 NAV Canada undertakes to make the NAV Canada Code of Conduct and any subsequent amendments available to all employees under this Agreement. The approval of a telework contract is done on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the nature of the work performed by the employee. It is recognised that such an agreement may not be possible due to the nature of the workers working for some of the workers covered by that agreement. An application for a telework agreement should not be unreasonably rejected. Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, the provisions of this Section apply to any new permanent employment, vacancy or period of more than twelve (12) months within the negotiating entity covered by this Agreement.

36.03 The hours of work of a part-time employee are agreed in advance between NAV CANADA and the employee.
